About
Horntet is a jazz band of young but very experienced and expressive musicians - graduates of Music Academies in Cracow and Katowice. The band's sound characteristics are based on jazz of the 60s, which, combined with modern performance techniques of contemporary music and extraordinary verve, gives us a picture of a raw, electrifying and texturally advanced sound. In addition to their own compositions, the repertoire also includes arrangements of jazz standards by Horace Silver and Thelonious Monk.
